Houston Roller Derby Superbowl Party

Superbowl Sunday is upon us! If you're still looking for a good spot to watch the game (besides your buddies sofa), Houstonist has a great suggestion for you! Watch the big game with the coolest (and toughest) girls in Houston at The Big Easy. The Houston Roller Derby is hosting a Superbowl Party from 5 p.m. until close with a Potluck and drink specials ($2.00 domestics/$5.00 pitchers of Lone Star and shot specials). Once the game is over, Bon Ton Mickey takes the stage with some post-game Zydeco (oh, if only the Saints were playing). In addition, there will be a raffle, prizes and some merchandise available for you flat track fans (get the calendars while they are still available - shower your cool friends with HRD merchandise - great gifts!!).

Potluck normally means "bring something to share" and with this and many other opportunities to watch the big game, Houstonist will be sharing some recipes for snacks and dips to complete your party, whip one up for this soiree.
