Daily-ist List: Wednesday

Blues Jam Session at the Big Easy Social & Pleasure Club

genre-blues.jpgBlues, Easy, Social, and Pleasure. Only one more word is needed to sweeten the deal: Free.

Tonight, and every Wednesday, The Big Easy Social & Pleasure Club hosts a free Blues Jam Session. The Big Easy is continually voted one of the best blues and jazz venues in the Houston area, and if you like dive bars, you should swim around in this one.

Expect great music, dancing, good pours, and to see the owner, Tom McClendon, on stage with his harmonica. Houstonist is a noted jazz flute player, but we prefer not to entrance people with our hypnotic notes. Those of you who have no problem showing your musical gifts are more than welcome to jam on stage with the rest of them. We'll just sit back and listen, in the knowledge that if we decided to participate, we would blow you away.

Place: Big Easy Social & Pleasure Club
Time: All Night, Every Wednesday
Cost: Free
