Houston's Missed Connections: Weighing in on bad lines

20061221_missed_connections.jpg

This week was fairly calm on Missed Connections, with people missing each other in all the usual places: grocery stores (mostly Kroger), coffee shops (mostly Starbucks) and roadways (mostly the Hardy). If we missed one of your favorite MCs let us know in the comments.

Zig zag

Riding my bike Sunday 01/28/07 heading toward Oyster creek on 523. I was zig zagging havin fun, you were in front of me and started zig zaggin to. You pulled into Bucees and I kept goin, should have stopped.

Wanna go for a ride?

What bike rider stops at a Bucees? For what? Gas? We don't think so.

Kenneth from carwash lived in Hollycreek Apts.

Hi there,I met you at the carwash on rayford/sawdust and told you where I lived and you just stopped by that night. We spent Feb. 1 & 2 together, which was my birthday by the way(husband was outta town. IF you are out there and read this please drop me a line. This was also in 1993. I must be crazy !

You must be, although we have to say we are relieved you didn't think you were looking into the future, considering Feb. 1 is today and Feb. 2 hasn't happened yet. As for harboring an interest in someone you had an encounter with 14 years ago: that's not crazy. That's desperate.

Someone was not thinking

you left finger prints behind...Does the phrase D'oh come to mind???

Is that where we left them? D'oh!

Saw you at the Dr's office today

I was getting my blood sugar checked today and saw you at the Doctors office, I wanted to talk to you but I was too shy. You are beautiful and could be a plus sized model, you had a baby with you in a high dollar stroller. If you happen to see this please email me and I can show you what I look like on my web cam.

"You could be a plus-size model!' What the hell kind of pickup line is that!?!

Are there any figures on how many of these result in people hooking up? It looks like a long shot.
