So here's one that's sure to make it on America's Funniest Police Chases: Early this morning, the passenger in a car pulled over by Harris County sheriff's deputies jumped out and ran from the cops — and stripped while he was doing it.
The deputies pulled the car over at about 1:45 a.m. for speeding. The car pulled into a parking lot near Fairbanks-North Houston and Rodney Ray; no sooner had it stopped than the passenger jumped out and ran off down the road, shedding his clothes as he went. Deputies chased him into a nearby park, where they eventually sent a police dog after him; the dog found him and bit him on the keister. Now that's the way to take a bite out of crime! (OK, yeah, we know — bad.)
Turns out the guy had several outstanding arrest warrants. The driver, who as far as we know remained in the car and clothed, was issued a speeding ticket.
