Through the Eyes of Children: The Rwanda Project

If you're looking for something a little less raucous than the Super Bowl, the Houston Holocaust Museum is currently housing this exhibit of photos of orphans from the Rwandan genocide. Photographer David Jiranek began The Rwanda Project in 2000, giving disposable cameras to Rwandan children between 8 and 18 to take pictures of themselves, each other, and their community. This exhibit, which will be in Houston until February 18, displays these photos.

When: Sunday hours are noon-5
Where: Holocaust Museum
How much: Free!
