Houstonist is inviting you to join us for a little holiday cheer as we celebrate Texas' 171st birthday. Gather with us as we declare our independence through solidarity. Isn't it ironic? Dontcha think? We'll have the usual bevy of free beverages and a bit of Houstonist schwag. We also have a trick or two up our sleeve so be there.
