With yesterday’s sudden death of Houston native Anna Nicole Smith, we thought it would be appropriate to feature one of the music videos that she appeared in. As far as we know, there were only a handful of music videos that she starred in, but we think this one from 1993 shows her at her best.
The video is by the always ultra-cool, ex-Roxy Music vocalist Bryan Ferry. The song is a cover of the Gerry Goffin/Carole King penned classic “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.” Sure, it’s a cover, but Ferry, always in his suit, was releasing first-rate cover songs (along with his originals) long before it became popular for aging rock stars.
You can also see Smith in Kayne West’s 2004 video “Workout Plan,” but that, of course, was filmed during some of the rougher moments of her life. The video for (along with the title) “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow” seems to be a more fitting tribute for Anna Nicole.
