Working On Your Night Moves

021207_bobseger.jpgHoustonist usually likes to see bands play in small, low priced venues, where cocktails aren't cut off at one shot, and beer doesn't cost a small fortune. Tonight, we have decided to go against the wind, and give in to the commercialization of good music just to see Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band on stage. Puns aside, this is the first concert tour for the band in ten years, and who knows how long until you see a stranger in town, again. Ok, we are really done now.

If you don't know who Bob Seger is, you should go for classic rock appreciation 101, and to get a glimpse of his new album, Face the Promise. We'll be honest and say that we are hoping that our money buys us a good percentage of the songs we already know and love, but sometimes new songs by classic artists are actually good. Worth the chance?? We think so.

Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band will be in Houston for ONE NIGHT ONLY, and who knows when they will return. Tickets are still available at various prices. Take your class to the School of Rock tonight, and end your night of Rock at Roeders Pub on Shepherd, where selected draughts are a dollar off.
