Once again, Houston shows that we are overflowing with talent. Last week, we told you that 18-year-old Robyn Troup was one of the three finalists for My Grammy Moment. Well, last night, she shined brighter than the rest and won the contest. The world got to see the Houston teenager performing live on stage at the Grammy awards show with Justin Timberlake.
When Jennifer Hudson announced the winner, Robyn came on stage and gracefully accepted the prize. The prize, of course, was not only the chance to sing and dance with Justin Timberlake (they performed Bill Wither’s “Ain’t No Sunshine,” by the way), but more importantly, a chance to get noticed on an international level. She did an outstanding job, as you can see here.
Congratulations (and happy 19th birthday) to Robyn. We have no doubt that the record execs are knocking on your door as we speak.
