For its inaugural exhibit, the Architecture Center Houston, affectionately referred to as the ArCH, offers a show of current plans for the future of Houston. The exhibit, titled Houston: Future Form, is divided into four areas: Architecture, Bayous, Parks, and Transportation. It includes plans for Discovery Green, the new downtown park, the realignment of I-10 and I-45, as well as the Asia House in the Museum District and continued landscaping along Buffalo Bayou. This is the first public exhibition of most of these plans, and they're sure to be a hit with Houston architecture junkies.

The Architecture Center Houston is a collaboration by AIA Houston and the Houston Architecture Foundation. The AIA is a chapter of the American Institute of Architects, a national professional association of architects. The Houston Architecture Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to be "a catalyst for public understanding and interest in architecture and urban design." We can jive with that.
