Before we get into this week's calendar, here are some upcoming concerts recently added that you may want to snag tickets for in advance:
Yo La Tengo – 4/6 @ Warehouse Live
Gwen Stefani/Akon/Lady Sovereign – 5/6 @ Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion
Son Volt – 5/6 @ Continental Club

Two special events this week that are worth checking out: Rice University radio station KTRU will be presenting their Battle of the Bands, featuring many local bands including The Good Fellows, Suitaloon, Annyong, Wiess244, and Moxie. The Starbucks Mixed Media events at the MFAH are always a treat. Join Ceeplus Bad Knives, Cassiano & DJ Sujinho, The Juan Maclean. Just please don't spill your drinks on the artwork.
