Houstonist Flickr Photo of the Day - Standing Still

Today’s Photo of the Day comes from flickr user and Houstonist photo contributor Jeff Balke.

This tree and his smaller counterpart sit on a small peninsula near Galveston near all the estuaries where fish spawn in the spring.

Houstonist thinks those are some lucky fish to have a such a sweet spawning spot.
