Before we get into this week's calendar, here are some upcoming concerts recently added that you may want to snag tickets for in advance:
Charlie Sexton – 4/20 @ Warehouse Live
Jimmy Buffet – 4/21 @ Minute Maid Park (on sale 3/3)
Damien Rice – 5/8 @ Verizon Wireless (on sale 3/9)
The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo kicks off tonight. On tap this week at the HSL&R is George Strait, Los Lonely Boys, Reba McEntire, Natalie Cole, and Clay Walker. For those who prefer not to smell manure at a concert, may we suggest the awesome double bill of Eric Clapton and Robert Cray -- two blues/rock guitarists at their best.
For Houston music fans, check out the 3rd Annual Rockin for Rise benefit show, featuring many great Houston artists and benefits the Rise School of Houston. Hard Rock Cafe will be hosting the show Friday night, while the Last Concert Cafe plays host on Saturday.
