Parents in Bellaire are being warned to keep an eye on their kids so their kids don't get an eyeful of an unidentified man's naughty bits. The man has already exposed himself to one 10-year-old girl, and based on information about that incident, it seems he'll do it again if the opportunity presents itself.
It happened like this: On Sunday afternoon, the girl left home to visit a house across the street to ask if her neighbors would support a charity. As she was crossing the street, a man sitting in a black Volkswagen Beetle asked the girl if she was selling Girl Scout cookies; she said she wasn't and the man said he wanted to support the charity anyway — apparently though indecent exposure. "I said, 'What happened?'" the girl's father said. "She goes, 'He gave me this $20 and asked me if I wanted to watch him, and he was naked, Daddy, from the waist down.'" Eeeewwwww.
The girl's dad called the cops and gave a description of the man, who was white with brown or gray hair. He was wearing a purple shirt and was driving with no license plates, which makes Bellaire police think he intended to expose himself Sunday: "This was his sole purpose when he set out in the middle of the afternoon to do this," Bellaire Police Det. Todd Fibich told KTRK. "His sole purpose was to commit this offense and victimize this child."
