Champagne and Ribs
photo_mus_history_01.jpgThe Contemporary Art Museum Houston is hosting their annual night of "casual elegance" supporting cultural diversity in Houston and art. This event has become a hit among Houstonians in the know, and tonight promises to be no different.

According to www.camh.org, Champagne and Ribs was originally conceived by the African American members of the museum board. The same group contiues to host the annual event to celebrate "the Museum's long history of commitment to diversity and art and artists of color."

This years event will feature Barbeque from Goode Company, and the smooth live jazz of artist, Yvonne Washington. You can purchase tickets at the door, or visit the Contemporary Arts Museum's website for more details. While the price is a little higher than Houstonist usually pays, it gets you champagne, dinner, a one-year Household membership, and goes to a great cause!
