Today’s Photo of the Day comes from flickr user and Houstonist photo contributor The Bald Heretic.

Taken on the 3700 block of Main Street, this photo captures an area with some great hangouts. On the corner of this photo is Julia's Bistro, next to it The Mink, next to it Shoeshine Charlie's Big Top, next to it Sig's Lagoon, next to it Taco's A Go-Go and at the other corner of the block is The Continental Club. This is a Main Street hot spot with great food, drinks, shopping and live music. If you've never checked out this location, it's at Main & Alabama or hop the light rail and get off at the HCC/Ensemble stop. You'll be glad you did.
