Daily -ist List: Wednesday

And Now for Something Totally Different
alphorn.jpg
So it's Wednesday Houston, and you're probably not sitting around wondering where you can go to hear some killer Polish music tonight... but we are going to telll you anyway. Houston is diverse, we don't just eat and drink (although this even can involve both if you choose to let it.) Get out tonight and celebrate all that is Space City, and head over to Rudi Lechner's Restaurant and Bar to sway to the sounds of Alpenfest.

According to Rudi's website, "audience participation is an important part of the show with singing, dancing, swinging back and forth with the music and performing songs with the band." Haven't you always wanted to sing and dance with your own Alpen Band? Houstonist has.
So leave your seedy local bars behind and head to Rudi Lechner's Restuarant and Bar for Wiener Schnitzel, a mug of brew, and something completely different.

When: Tonight
Where: Rudi Lechner's Restaurant and Bar @ 2503 S. Gessner
What: Alpenfest (and beer and German and Austrian fare)
Cost: Whatever your tab is at the end of the night
