So as luck would have it, Austin is only about 150 miles away (although we’re sure you already knew that, smartypants), and each year around mid-March there is a well respected music, arts, and media festival known as South by Southwest (knew that, too, didn’t you?). What’s this got to do with Houston, you ask? (See, you don’t know everything.) Well, Houston has become a sort of stop-over point on the way to (or from) SXSW for many indie music artists.
