My Baby's Got Sauce

So it's Friday kids, and you want to hear some music. Well, if you are a follower, teenager, middleager, or someone who thinks that he still writes good music, maybe you should go see Pat Green at the rodeo tonight. Was that too harsh? We're not going to pretend like we don't own and still listen to our old Pat Green CDs. By old we mean, George's Bar, Live at Billy Bob's, etc. Along with this we also have to admit that hearing the song "College" makes us vomit in our mouth.

Anywhoo, so you want to hear good music tonight (and we all know Pat isn't going to sing Dancehall Dreamer, much like George Strait stuck to the new stuff) so you should head to Wharehouse Live to catch G Love and Special Sauce. Before we continue on the matter at hand, we would like to say that we love George Strait, but the song "Honk if You're Honkey Tonk" also makes us vomit in our mouth.

G Love and Special Sauce is sure to play classics from their last fourteen"ish" years as a group, and when your baby's got sauce, you just have to go with it. In our experience, G Love is a love 'em or hate 'em band, so some of you may have your own vomit opinions about them, and their range of music over their career. We like to go to hear "Stepping Stones," and will be singing "Baby's Got Sauce" in our head all day today. People will look at us in a weird way when we start to accidentally sing out loud, but that's pretty much the norm, so no big. For more live music in Houston tonight, check out www.pollstar.com.
