St. Patrick's Day Excursion: Junior Brown

This Saturday is St. Patrick's Day! There will be parties, festivities, bar specials, Irish Folk Dancing, and a parade or two may bust out. Houstonist is going to start letting you know what we know (which may not be all that much) about what is going down in H-Town, and the surrounding area. We know that some people prefer not to be all in the middle of a crowded fracas, some prefer more entertainment than the chubby guy drinking his guinness straight from the pitcher and bellowing. To that end, we would like to fill you in on one of the coolest spots we've located just a little piece down the 59 from here. Greek Bros. in El Campo - it's a very cool place, the food is good and the entertainment is very promising. Four-Time Grammy Nominee and "demon guitarist", Junior Brown will be taking the stage at Greek Bros. this Saturday, beginning at 10:00 p.m.

Tickets are $15.00 and we suggest you "Guit With It" and reserve your table in advance, as this will be a crowded, popular show. The drive is really not bad from "centralish" Houston, about an hour and a half or so right down 59 South. Houstonist does suggest, since you may be drinking some green beer or Irish whiskey, you get a room somewhere.
