Little Tyra Watch: Coming Home

We didn't see this one coming, but Felicia, the Houstonian on this cycle of America's Next Top Model, has been sent packing. The 19 year old beauty has been focused on this season, mainly due to her resemblence to Supermodel/ANTM host Tyra Banks. We thought she would go much farther, because she is beautiful, took great pictures, and isn't crazy. Apparently though, not being crazy is not a good thing for ratings, and because she was so young, they told her she needed room to grow, and sent her on her way.

Although we are not the authority on not being crazy, we think this is blatant descrimination of non crazy people everywhere. On the other hand, all the nutjobs left of the show make us want to keep watching, even though Felicia was our only excuse. We also think Felicia's ability to not air her dirty laundry for sympathy points may have led to her demise, but more power to her! She doesn't need sad stories to succeed, but apparently, you need them to stay on the show.

Like many of the girls who lose their chance at becoming America's Next Top Model, we are sure Felicia will move on to a career in modeling, and still make her dreams come true. The world is looking bright for the Tyra-esque, 19 year old Houstonian, and we wish her the best of luck.
