Good morning, Houston. If the thought of teeing off atop a downtown skyscraper gets you going, here's some excellent news: For the next week, you'll have the chance! It's part of The Glenlivet City Links, a 9-hole golf course and clubhouse that's touring seven U.S. cities. In Houston, the City Links — which includes a free course, a virtual driving range and a lounge — is set up on the 50th floor of Three Allen Center, 333 Clay St. It's open today, tomorrow, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; check out the details here. (And in case you wondered, it's not only an excellent chance to leave work in the middle of the day, but it's also a good cause: The course's pay-what-you-want green fee benefits the American Diabetes Association.)
>> Sex, family and videotape: Dusty Shane Snow, a 32-year-old Bacliff man, has been accused of drugging and raping a 10-year-old relative — and filming it. Snow was already in jail on charges of harassment and making terroristic threats; his family, expecting him to be behind bars for a while, went to his home this weekend to pack up some of his stuff and found the tape, which officials say shows at least three depictions of Snow and the girl having sex and also depicts the girl smoking what investigators say could be methamphetamine. Snow now faces three counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, and a Galveston County assistant DA said more charges could be filed as an investigation continues.
>> Nowak's new career: Lisa Nowak, the former astronaut accused of trying to kidnap a romantic rival in Orlando, will develop flight lesson plans in her new Navy assignment at the Chief of Naval Air Training Command in Corpus Christi. The Navy said earlier this month that Nowak, a naval captain, was assigned to the Chief of Naval Air Training Command after she was dismissed as a NASA astronaut. When she begins her new job in April, Nowak "will have more of a course developer role rather than be a direct instructor," Navy spokesman Lt. Sean Robertson told the AP.
>> Oops: A school bus flipped onto its side in Pearland yesterday morning after its back wheels were hit by an oncoming car. The accident happened on FM 1128 at Fite Road, where a car driving in the center lane reportedly T-boned into the bus's rear wheels, causing the bus to tip over — seriously, who knew that would happen? Fortunately, no one was hurt: "[The students] were shaken up, a little nervous, a little scared," said the Pearland Independent School District's Cary Partin. "There's not anything more scary than driving out and seeing a bus on its side." Unless, of course, you happen to be aboard the bus. The accident is under investigation; no tickets have been issued so far.
>> Today's weather: Looks like another pretty nice day. Expect mostly cloudy skies this morning, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon, with a high of 78. Overnight, some clouds will remain and the temperature will drop to 64. It's the kind of weather that makes you think summer's on its way — until you remember, that is, that the average summer highs are somewhere around 250 degrees.
