Architecture & Museum Lecture Series: Barry Bergdoll, "At Home in the Museum"

Tonight the Menil Collection and Rice University Lecture Series "Architecture and Museums" present Barry Bergdoll "At Home in the Museum" at 7:00 pm at RIce University.

Barry Bergdoll is the Chief Curator of Architecture and Design at The Museum of Modern Art, New York. He joined the faculty of Columbia University's art history and archeology department in 1985.

A specialist in European and American architectural history, he has curated major architectural exhibitions, including "Mies in Berlin" at MoMA (2001–2003). He is the author of numerous scholarly works, including studies of Léon Vaudoyer and Karl Friedrich Schinkel, and is at work on a study of Marcel Breuer.
