He and I transferred to Rice at the same time and in the same residential college--we bonded during O-Week over picking classes and ended up with two classes together over his time at Rice. My talks with him walking to and from class revealed a sweet kid who took school as seriously as he took his responsibility to his team. We'll miss you.</p>
