IBP Goes Emo

It’s time to whip out your blackest black eyeliner and dust off your old poetry journal as Infernal Bridegroom Productions holds its "Tortured Artists Gala" this Saturday at the Axiom (2524 McKinney).

Scheduled activities include buffet dinner and silent auction, dancing to the IBP Band, taking in some Seriously Silly Performance Art, and, if you’re lucky, getting crowned Miss Understood.

While the IBP Tortured Artist Gala is sure be be a great time, it’s also crucial to this small theater’s survival. The IBP Gala raises a substantial portion of our annual programming budget. That means living it up at the gala equals keeping IBP alive. IBP is an ensemble-based theater company dedicated to creating new audiences for the arts, through the production of plays which challenge, arouse, excite and inspire audiences and artists alike. IBP is a 501(c)(3) organization, and contributions above the cash value of each ticket ($35) are tax-deductible.
