Today’s Photo of the Day comes from flickr user and Houstonist photo contributor Axelhouston who brings us this iconic random Montrose neighborhood shot. Street parking, plants in the ditch, the glow of the city street lights and lots of trees, pure unzoned bliss. All these things help bring together the uniqueness that is The Montrose.
On a side note, directly to the right of the stop sign is the original locations of Barnaby's and Baby Barnaby's, two Montrose institutions in food. Baby Barnaby's for breakfast and Barnaby's for lunch and dinner. See ya there!
