Local Blog Roundup: Your membership is your passport

042807_cmhouston.jpgA museum membership really is the gift that keeps on giving. Twerpette blogged this week about a museum passport program that lets you get in free to nearly 300 museums all over the country if you're a member of one of the participating institutions. Included on the list are the Houston Children's Museum and the John P. McGovern Museum of Health & Medical Science. Twerpette has a link to the list of all the museums, and there are some pretty hot tickets on there. This program is all about opening up the marketplace of ideas and is sure to make family vacations fun, cheaper, and more educational.
