Student Night @ Angelika Houston

Houstonist loves student pricing and specials. Houstonist also loves that our undergraduate student ID fails to note that we graduated in May of 2004. Sure, we might look a little older, but who is going to tell us that to our face when we clearly could have just had a rough few years.

Monday night is Student night at the Angelika Film Center downtown. They really know how to appeal to the "student", offering discounted ticket rates, and free LARGE popcorn and LARGE soda with your ticket stub. In our book, that's a basic, whole grain, nutritional, and free dinner. All for the low low price of $6.00.

So what we are suggesting is that every Monday night, you should be dusting off the old student ID, and heading over to the Angelika, because even though we all aren't still broke college kids, we are all still mostly broke.

On a side note, if you still have a valid college ID, it's Monday, damn you. Go find a happy hour or drink special somewhere, and thank the powers that be that you probably don't have to be up early for work on Tuesday.
