High Fashion Home Hosts Organica Lounge + Guest Environmental Speakers

It may not easy being green, but High Fashion Home is making it more bearable. Tonight, the swanky Midtown furniture and fabric retailer introduces their Environment Furniture Gallery, a line of environmental-friendly furniture and decor.

To help launch the collection, the evening will include guest speakers Rebecca Foster, Green Education Consultant for Healthy Child Healthy World, on organization who works to expand awareness and understanding of environmental hazards to children's health; and John Porretto, Owner of Sustainable Building Solutions, a Texas company that evolved from John and Sue Porretto's efforts to design and construct a high quality home that exceeded code in structural integrity, energy efficiency, safety, and healthfulness. Speakers begin at 6:30 pm.

The night's activities also include a raffle for a chance to win a $5000 environmental furniture gift certificate, with all proceeds benefiting Health Child Health World.

Hors d'oeuvres from t'afia (reason enough to attend!), cocktails by Square One Vodka, and green tea from Numi will all be served. DJ Sun (who we think is the perfect choice for this fete) will be spinning in the Organica Lounge.
