Some good acts are in town this week. We have free tickets for one in particular -- Charlie Robison. You must send us an e-mail with your name, e-mail address and phone number to contest (at) gmail (dot) com by noon tomorrow to win.
There's so many good shows Saturday night, it's hard to decide which one to hit. Kings of Leon will probably win out. The Tennessee indie rock band plays Warehouse Live that night. Also, Reckless Kelly joins Joe Ely at Conroe's Crighton Theatre (great bands and venue). If you think all of those are too mainstream for you, then check out Austin's Future Clouds and Radar at Walter's.
Tonight, we highly recommend Damien Rice at Verizon Wireless, but if you're still stuck on Buzz-ish alt/rock, then drive down to Clear Lake to see Fuel.

Boo to Joe Ely tickets for costing $50.
Yeah, $50 sucks, but google Crighton Theatre and check the place out. It's a pretty nifty old, intimate theater -- but quite a drive to Conroe. May be worth it to see Both Joe Ely & Reckless Kelly.
"i don't care what nobody she's gonna have my babeeee!" :-) see yall on Saturday night, pull out the whiskey, the Kings are in town!
