Fall in love with IBP's latest production

051007_20lovesongs.jpgWhat is love? Infernal Bridegroom Productions has the answer - or twenty answers. IBP's Tamarie Cooper explores the question in her latest work, 20 Love Songs. From their website:

What is love? A greasy clutch of Whataburger French fries at 2 in the morning? The slurpy tongue of a tea cup chihuahua? Or the frenzied scribblings of a 16-year-old girl who's never been kissed? In 20 Love Songs, you'll find it's all of this and more.

20 Love Songs explores this through twenty vignettes that showcase love in many different contexts. Audiences can expect laughter and tears as they watch the performance leap from topic to topic, ranging from senior citizens to motherhood to heartbreak to dating services to obsession, and everything in between. The show also includes live music performed by the IBP orchestra.

The show is running Fridays and Saturdays at The Axiom through June 9. Cooper has promised to keep the show fresh with a rotating cast of actors and acts, so see it as many times as you'd like!
