The Astros are starting to get hot - they've won 8 of their last 12 - and they hope to continue that into a three-game series against the Giants that begins tonight at Minute Maid Park. It'll be tough for the 'Stros, who haven't won a home series against the Giants since 1999. Last year, San Francisco swept our beloved home team and showed no mercy - 10-1, 14-3, 10-1. But who's keeping track?

San Francisco slugger Barry Bonds is still 10 home runs away from tying Hank Aaron's lifetime record of 755, so it's unlikely that the epic moment will happen during this series. Bonds and the Astros have a checkered past. He tied the season home run record at Minute Maid in 2001 in front of a favorable crowd. But last year, while he was looking to tie Babe Ruth for second on the all-time list, Houston fans cheered when Russ Springer hit Bonds with a pitch - intentionally.

Woody Williams, looking for a second consecutive win, will be pitching for Houston. Whatever happens, tonight's game will be nothing short of exciting, so get out and cheer on your team!
