Remember Tiffany Boss, the woman who police found last month stuffed into a clothes dryer? Though Boss initially told police that her boyfriend, Adrian Williams, was the one who put her in the dryer, Williams' attorney now says Boss isn't sure if that was actually the truth. In fact, she apparently doesn't remember giving the police a statement at all.
"She's saying she doesn't even recall giving the cops a statement regarding who did it. She had a seizure when she was coming out of the dryer, so any information she was giving, I believe, was a little too spontaneous," defense attorney Marc Metze said. Metze also said he can prove that Williams was at work all day April 26, the day the incident occurred — which doesn't seem to jive with initial media reports that Boss' boyfriend was at Boss' apartment when police found her in the dryer. (Police showed up at the apartment complex, in fact, because of a domestic dispute that was reportedly between Boss and her boyfriend.) But as we've seen, early media reports aren't always entirely accurate.
At any rate, it seems police are back to square one — or at least close to it — since the woman who, in theory, would know the most about what happened doesn't seem to know a thing about it. Should be interesting to see how this one works out.
