Celebrate the final week of National Bike Month

060107_bikeshop.jpgNational Bike Month is over, but the partying isn't. The Mayor's office and Bayou City Outdoors will give Bike Month one last hurrah this evening, and everyone is invited.

The Bike Month 2007 Celebration will take place tonight at Berryhill on Post Oak at San Felipe. Over 400 cyclists have registered on the city's website to ride their bikes during the month of May. These registered riders are automatically entered into a drawing to win lots of flashy prizes. Included: gift certificates, cycling accessories, Astros tickets, and lots of other fabulous gifts. Tamales will be complimentary and there is plenty of parking for bikes and cars.

Bayou City Outdoors will also announce the winner of Houston's Bike To Work Corporate Challenge. The winner will be the company who had the most employees bike to work last month. For more information about cycling in Houston, visit houstonbikeways.org.

When: 6-8 pm tonight
Where: Berryhill Baja Grill on Post Oak
