Scholarly Pursuits: Animalia

61107_chloe.jpg Interested in getting in touch with your most animal nature? This will probably be the healthiest avenue to do so: Tuesday evening, the Jung Center of Houston kicks off its Student/Member Lecture Series with a presentation entitled, Creature Comforts: Animals, Nature and Healing.

If you've got nature on the brain after thinking about the Top 10ist topic of the week, then this may be the perfect satiating experience. According to the Jung website, "[a]nimal-assisted therapy expert Audrey Schwartz Rivers talks about the healing potential of the connections we form with animals and nature from an early age." In other words, kittens and puppies and babies rule!

Come out for this free presentation, enjoy light refreshments, and then go home to dream about how you could have been such a better person if only your mom had let you have that pet gerbil. Meeeeowwww.
