Can't decide whether to see a movie, get a drink, go to the musuem, or see some live music tonight? Why decide? Do it all the the Museum of Natural Science's Summer Series "Mixers & Elixirs." Each Friday night during the summer, the museum hosts a gang of party goers in a true social science experiment. Mixers & Elixirs features cocktails, dancing under the dinosaurs, an IMAX movie each hour, and the best in live local music.

The event begins at 6:00pm each Friday night and ends at 10:00pm, now through August 24th. Members pay only $13 and non-members ticket price is $15.

Tonight Yelba and Latin Fire perform steamy salsa, merengue, and cumbia, that'll have you dancing wildly. Then, in a blink of an eye, they'll switch to smooth jazz and beautiful Spanish ballads that'll bring a tear to your eyes. A salsa instructor will also be on hand to teach some smooth moves in between the band breaks.

I believe my friend and fellow salsa class-mate will be the instructor and I recommend him! I will also be there tonight. It's a lot of fun even if it does get crowded. We somehow find some space to dance in! :)

I recommend dancing near the Stegasaurus, the T-Rex is too popular. :-) see you there!
