Here is a bizarre news story that makes the Blue Elephant cry…

So how would you like it if a former high school friend started using your name? A little disturbing sure, but nothing too bad, after all imitation is the highest form of flattery. Now imagine if you found out this ex-friend was a using your name in pornographic films. Lawsuit anyone?

Turns out that this scenario is just what happened to two former Kingwood high school classmates. Lara Madden, now 25, has been using the name of her former friend as her porn name (Syvette Wimberly) since 2004. The real Syvette Wimberly, also 25, recently discovered that "there was a woman appearing in multiple explicit pornographic videos" using her name and was here former high school friend Lara Madden. Wimberly has since filed a complaint in the Harris County District Court claiming that she has “suffered emotional distress and mental anguish” and is seeking monetary damages. In addition Wimberly wants to stop Vivid entertainment, the company producing the Adult films, from continuing to use her name.

Seems like this will make for an interesting high school reunion…
