Getting married soon? (Yikes.) If you are ready to dive into the world of florists, photographers, DJ's, and bridal gowns, you are in luck! This weekend, the 23rd Bi-Annual Bridal Extravaganza walks down the aisle at the GRB, July 14 & 15.

The nation’s largest bridal show will take place on Saturday, at the George R. Brown Convention Center this Saturday and Sunday. This year’s event features over 300,000 square-feet of bridal exhibition space with event highlights including the 2007 Trend Wedding Display featuring the top wedding trends for the year compiled by the best event planners and vendors in the area; the Enchanted Floral Garden featuring a range of popular and unique flowers, colors and bouquet ideas; Bridal Tasting Area featuring a variety of food and wine options for all wedding-related events; entertainment options from DJ services to theme bands; and décor vendors that can transform any space into the wedding location of your dreams.

Also included at this year’s event are a variety of bridal fashion booths, wedding and honeymoon destinations and travel consultants, exciting bridal package giveaways and much more. (there's more?!)

“From clean-cut, simple weddings to the most luxurious ceremonies, the 2007 Bridal Extravaganza Show has something for every bride,” stated Laurette Veres, event producer. “This year’s show is bigger and better than ever so brides will be able to find every possible item needed to plan a fantasy wedding.”

Haute Couture Fashion Show
This year’s event will also house the inaugural H Texas Couture Runway fashion show and special haute-couture area featuring top-of-the-line wedding planning options and designer gowns including the debut bridal collection from Houston’s own top fashion designer Cesar Galindo.

Preview Tomorow on KRIV Fox 26
The Bridal Extravaganza will be featured on KRIV Fox 26 Morning Newscast with Lanny Griffith on Friday, July 13 from 6-9 a.m. The morning will feature bridal fashions from Alfred Angelo and Houston’s own Cesar Galindo who will showcase some of his couture gowns and will also be interviewed. In addition, you will see unusual floral arrangements, invitation designs, and reception décor.
