Located in the heart of Woodland Heights on Bayland Avenue (a.k.a. "The Street of Dreams" in the Heights), this 1904 Victorian home is a rare and stunning example of Houston’s history. Built by William A. Wilson (founder of the heights), this home has many original details that have been restored to their original form as well as updates that have been integrated into the original space.
The main living rooms in the home include historic feature such as Bradbury & Bradbury wallpaper, heart pine flooring, and pocket doors. The most noticeable updates to the home are found in the kitchen with stainless steel appliances, solid surface countertops, custom cabinetry and woodwork. Outside the home has great curb appeal, with features such as traditional landscaping an artsy wrought iron fence. New features include a two car garage (exterior matching original home details) with game-room above, and a saltwater pool.
There's a price for all of this charm — $799,000, to be exact. But here's what you get for that: Bedrooms: four. Bathrooms: three. Square feet: 3,268 — and the pride of owning a historic home that hasn’t been torn down by developers.

My neighbors Don and Debbie Broman did all the custom work renovating that house inside and out, their website is:

Ah, this is one of my favorite houses in Woodland Heights. The curved roof is so cool, and there's a urved bay window on the east side of the first floor with a bizarre castellated top. As they say, it's got character.
rod iron? I thought it was wrought iron?
Saw this listing on HAR. Many more pictures of the interior and exterior. Very cool.
