For all of your rockers out there, we got a pair of tickets for Sunday night’s Projekt Revolution waiting for you. What is Projekt Revolution you say? Well, it’s a concept that headliner Linkin Park created about 5 years ago, with hopes to bridge the gap between rock and hip-hop. This year’s tour features both genres, along with bands that melt the two genres together in their own music. This year’s line up includes My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, HIM, Placebo, Julien-K, and about a half-dozen other artists on the second stage.
This year, Project Revolution (sponsored in part by NowWhat.com) is donating part of the tour’s revenue to American Forest, and will have information booths explaining how you can make your life more “green friendly” (and we’re not talking about Benjamins).
To enter the contest, just send an e-mail to contest (at) houstonist (dot) com with the following information: “Projekt Revolution” in the subject line, your name, e-mail address, and phone number (must be 18 or older to enter). The contest will end tomorrow (Thurs.) at noon and we will call the winner tomorrow afternoon. Good luck!
