I've decided to stop patronizing businesses that lease from Weingarten, and to shift my trade to stores that lease from companies that preserve old buildings or that build new green buildings. I might have to go online more to shop, and that'll deprive Mayor White a bit of that sales tax he's so keen for.

One whole minute to speak? Wow.

It's unfortunate that the city is taking a step forward in preservation in the Sixth Ward, but has stood by and let Weingarten do what it wants with regard to the River Oaks and Alabama. Ah well — money talks.
