Did you notice our lazy capitalization in the title? Well, that's exaclty how we're feeling today. A lazy weekend in the blazing sun out by the pool is just what we've been waiting for all summer. So here it is, make the most of it!

For the record, FOX, yes we do think we can dance. And very well, might we add. With the recent success of the reality contest show, So You Think You Can Dance, many dance organizations in town such as Planet Funk and Wyld StyL, and are seeing a resurgance of interest in dance instruction.

This morning we gave you a chance to win tickets to the dance show's Houston stop on their tour natinowide tour, and tonight you can see some of Houston's best dancers as they take the stage in the 5th Annual City-Wide Dance Festival at the Wortham Center.

The festical will feature all styles of dance, from hip hop to ballroom, contemporary to cultural dance. Over one hundred and fifty local dancers will take the stage at The Wortham's Cullen Theater tonight at 7:30pm. Headliners are Planet Funk, Marvelous Motion, and Barbara King’s Dance Company.

Dance Houston 2007 presents fifteen Houston-area dance companies to enthusiastic crowds! Audiences will be inspired to join the gusto, capture the feeling, and move to the rhythm. The show has it all: the eye-popping, jaw-dropping feats of hip hop, the subtle beauty of contemporary dance, the celebration of diverse cultures, and the elegance of ballroom.
