Oh yes, it's tax-free time again - from Friday to Sunday you can shop 'til you a) drop, b) max out your sugar daddy's credit cards or c) buy all the backpacks in sight because they are actually eligible for Tax Free Weekend this year, which makes pretty darn good sense with the whole 'back to school thing' if you ask us (says KHOU).
All you consumers know the drill - for the entire weekend there is no sales tax on clothing, shoes and backpacks under $100. For the first time, energy efficient appliances (and even incandescent fluorescent bulbs) are included in the mix as well, because every kindergarten-er needs a new fridge.
