Brew is the appropriate term for iced toddy. It is actually a 12-24 hour cold brew method which entails the ground coffee intermingling with cold filtered water. It turns out a concentrate after the brew time is completed that is much less acidic tasting than iced coffee. It also hs a refrigerated shelf life of up to 14 days.

I tried the Toddy tonight. It's a marked improvement over regular Iced Coffee or the obnoxious sounding Cafe Americano. I will add it to my regular beverages for an evening out blogging.

Vanilla Bean Chiller? That's the second recommendation I've gotten for that beverage. But the other rec didn't mention the naughty side effect. Sold!

Will totally try the iced toddy now. Just think, it only takes half the time to get a cup as the drip coffee at cafe artiste. Neat!

I would have to argue the semantics of the word brew, which implies boiling or near-boiling water. I would suggest the drink has been steeped, but that implies warm to near-boiling water as well. Hmm, perhaps the crushed beans have been soaked? Get me a linguist on the phone.

Try the Vanilla Bean Chiller at Inversion. It's so good, it makes you feel naughty!
