I wouldn't mind having Taveras' glove, but I don't really miss his bat. He has to hit above the .300 to have a decent on base percentage because he doesn't walk much, and he has no power at all.

Well, so far, Willy T. has been a good player. He has a above average arm and speed and he's batting .311. I'll take him back.

In fairness, it's not exactly Brock for Broglio we're talking about here. The Astros gave up 3 so-so players, and obtained a formerly pretty good pitcher. That pitcher probably sucked because he was hurt. Bad. But not the worst.

Taveras may be a fan favorite, but that's only because the fans don't understand that he's not very good.
