Dance has seen a vast resurgance in the country this year, whether blame lies with Fall Out Boy, or So You Think You Can Dance, we're not sure. But we are sure we are loving all the great talent that exists right here in dancetown Houston, TX. Swayze was so ahead of his time.

Companies like the Dominic Walsh Dance Theater has helped to encourage these recent trends, and also provide the city with an even further diversity of the arts. And you gotta love those tights.

The Dominic Walsh Dance Theater will kick-off its stellar 2007-2008 season with free-of-charge performances of Fall for Dominic Walsh Dance Theater on September 7 and 8, 2007, at 8:00 PM at Miller Outdoor Theatre in Hermann Park. This dynamic program will feature recent additions to the company’s repertoire that have proven to be audience favorites, and provide the perfect introduction to the variety Dominic Walsh Dance Theater offers for new audience members. “I hope those who have never seen the company perform, as well as our fans, will come out to celebrate the arrival of the fall season and ‘fall in love’ with contemporary ballet,” says Walsh.
