It's time to dredge through the muck and mire of the blogosphere to come out with a few gems of commentary, sass, and sarcasm about our Houston sports teams. And awaaaaaay we go:
- If you're a Mario Williams apologist, Sunday was Redemption Day. The good folks at Brahsome are shouting it from the rooftops today.
- As noted last week, the miscreants over at Orange Whoopass are all over the Astros search for a general manager, which gives us another excuse to run this picture. Check out the discussion thread about the GM hunt, and if you need a glossary of the code words being used, you're in luck.
- Dikembe Mutumbo is coming back for another year with the Rockets, and his grandchildren couldn't be happier. Kidding of course; he's only returning so that he doesn't have to go on Social Security. He's old, get it? Is this thing on? NBA Fanhouse has the coverage.
- DGDB&D has a fantastic breakdown of just how bad of a woodshed beating the Chiefs suffered at the hands of the Texans yesterday. I smell an underdog story developing as the season progresses.
- And because we haven't even begun to start rubbing it in with Chiefs fans, it's time for this old chestnut. Great googly moogly, indeed.
See y'all next week!
