ArtsHouston Happy Hour at Salud Winery
We've been waiting to check out this new winery, and we've also been looking for an opportunity rub some elbows with the Frank Rose and the ArtsHouston peeps. And what better place than here, what better time than now? Please excuse the RATM reference. We are super fans.
This evening, join the ArtsHouston staff at Montrose's newest wine bar, Salud Winery (3939 Montrose) from 6 to 9pm. All drinks are $2 off and free munchies will abound. Classical guitar will be provided by James Napier. Ahem, maybe we can find some fresh meat.
Salud offers a Wine Making 101 class that we've been dying to try out. Um, who doesn't want to make wine? Sign. us. up. Groups can come in and create their own batches of wine. Groups can learn all about the mixing process, fermentation, and bottling steps. Then, 45 days later, the group gets back together to label, and of course consume, the bottles.
