Pandora's Visit
Here's something we missed last week. Founder of Pandora, Tim Westergren, was in town this past week to meet up with Pandora users in Houston. Local blogger and geekette, Jamie Martin, made it out to the meetup and wrote this blog post on the event. Click2Houston also had a small write up on the Pandora service this past week. If you are not familiar with Pandora, we encourage you to check them out. Pandora is a customizable internet radio station that you mold by telling the service what songs and artists you like. Pandora will in turn, play your songs as well as others that are similar, allowing you to vote on these songs. So, in other words, it learns your musical tastes. It's a great service and it's free.
