Great video. This is why those turns are illegal, guys. And guess what? You really do need to look before you change lanes, whether it's a train coming, or a bicyclist, or a bus or a van or a truck or a pedestrian.
These clips make it obvious, the train is not leaping from the tracks to run down innocent drivers.
Instead, some clearly oblivious or impatient drivers need to pay better attention on the road. And that's true all over town. If anything needs a cute nickname, how about let's call 59-south at 610 "The Meat Grinder" ... or maybe 610 at Westheimer "The Death Jam".
